Re: Tatula SV TW

I personally can't wait for the SV version of the newest Tatula. That reel fits my palm so well! http://www.daiwa.com/scandinavia/contents/reels/pro_tw100sv/index.html That is just a CT reel. Am I missing something? It's an SV tatula 100 /w the new tatula frame. There's a few videos on youtube. It ...

There's a dedicated thread to the morethan 2019. There's people in that thread who have asked and have had your question answered.

Re: WEC CRANKBAITS

The WEC market is a product of recency biased. ED just passed and the baits are no longer made so the prices are much higher than their 22-25$ tag. However, there are thousands upon thousands of WEC baits in circulation. Prices will inevitably go down but as of today, it's a sellers market. There's ...

I've only thrown the 105 and can't see a reason to change. It's one awesome topwater. Dobyns 704 and 30# braid. I don't use a leader personally.

Re: Tatula SV casting distance.

Flush or replace the spool bearings. Made a word of difference . To say that I’m less than impressed with stock daiwa spool bearings over the past year would be an understatement. Whatever vendor daiwa is using for those black spool bearings had been super hit or miss. Some good, some took forever t...

Re: Daiwa Steez 103HL breakdown hot sauce replacement?

Daiwa blue is good stuff. TW usually has it in stock. Superlube is decent and you can usually find it locally at hardware stores.

Keep that Hot Sauce junk away from your reels.

Re: What is your prefered reel for jerkbaits

I've used quite a few different reels and found that if I used a high gear ratio with my cadence that I was popping the bait and not the slack. Used a stock tdz type R+ last year and my catch rate seemed to improve. Felt the "lower" gear's helped me keep the bait where I wanted to easier w...

Re: G1 Duralumin Drive Gear

I don't believe the Steez A and Steez SV TW gear sets are interchangable...didn't fact check that but I thought I read that. I have a few of both A's and SV TW's. Had to replace the gear set on just 1 but I use it for flipping/pitching jigs in wood /w heavy fluoro. Knew it would happen, didn't care ...

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

http://www.daiwa.com/scandinavia/contents/reels/pro_tw100sv/index.html Reel's been out since Feb of 2018..never heard of it. The SV spool in it is the same tatula SV style /w the shaft. Not free floating. Gotta get me one of the purple handles though. Same, wonder if it would match the trim of Daiw...
