I have always used stock hooks. Most baits come with decent hooks these days. It tends to get rather expensive if you factor in a 20 dollar bait than 6 dollars for different hooks. Especially if you own as many cranks as I do.

I've had the best luck cranking when my bait makes constant contact with the bottom.

Vision 110 and spro mcstiks are my preferences on jerkbaits

not a big deep diver fan but i picked up a new rod for 8 and 10xd this winter looking forward to actually useing them this year...yeah I know 10xd have been out awhile and not new

Lucky craft rc 1.5 drs for me. Only got 3 left can't ever find them in the colors I want anymore

I prefer 7' and longer for most applications. If im throwing a jerkbait i prefer a shorter rod also prefer a shorter rod when im hitting docks

I have used invisx this entire year the first time out i had a break off when casting my lure costed me a spool. Ever since 15lb and 12lb have held up exceptionally well only break offs since have been my own fault getting hung up in deep brush pile etc....

when the jerkbait bite was on this year the rc stick outfished the vision 110 the entire time in my experience anyhow. all i can say is change out those hooks and split rings or you will be as sorry as i was haha
