Re: Any news or excitement about Jackall Poison USDM drop?

I personally cant wait!! But can anyone confirm if they were a significant difference in the blank between the old Jackall Poison and the Expride? Jackall is a collaborative effort with Shimano and Jackall. Expride is Shimano only. Different materials and technologies are used in these two differen...

Re: Seditions and some others.

Certainly in running for The Greatest no question. I smile and let out sigh of relief knowing no matter how bad it gets it'll never get THIS bad for me. And I thank you for that. Oh, and don't forget, I got a direct contact for a trustworthy psychologist with your name on it. I got you brother. If ...

Re: Who is the MOST over rated ?

You guys realize Megabass rods are made in China, right? I get the knock on American companies outsourcing overseas, but my gripe on Dobyns is he uses inexpensive, low grade blanks. So he's charging good money with two questionable red flags. Are all Megabass rods made in China or just from a certa...

On another note, the Zillion rods all seemed to lack sensitivity, as well.

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

I think I said he tried the Pixy spool in the Alphas CT, but I meant that he tried the 30mm Alphas CT spool in a Pixy, and the spool flopped back and forth, because it is narrower. The Steez CT spool is the exact same as the Alphas CT spool. That was confirmed, as well. Aside of my question about t...

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

You'd better be a dang good machinist! You said someone tried a Pixy spool in the new Steez. Was he a machinist who was willing to mutilate a spool? Or did he make spacers I think I said he tried the Pixy spool in the Alphas CT, but I meant that he tried the 30mm Alphas CT spool in a Pixy, and the ...

Re: Any news or excitement about Jackall Poison USDM drop?

I was told by a Jackall rep that there blanks are the same between the expride and Poison. He said the poison had better guides and reel seat. This is while I was looking at a conquest. That said, the poison was the best feeling rod I have ever held. Almost like an extension of you. That rep must h...

Re: Shimano and Jackall Prepare to Launch New Poison Adrena rods and Lures at the Classic

Seperates in the middle of the blank. These come in both 1 and 2 piece. So you have to worry about it coming apart during casting and what not? The only rod I own that is 2 piece is my 11' surf fishing rod. If that's the case then I'm out on these.[/quote] Lol. I've literally never had a 2 piece ro...

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

TW listed line capacity isn't far off, roughly 15 yards, give or take a nose hair. I'm not sure I'd consider this a finesse - finesse reel. Sounds similar to the SV Light Limited. 1/8 plus small trailer is very good with the right rod. The Zpi Nrc001-m will outclass the SV Light Limited, so I'm not...
