Last resort. Too much work. Plus generally speaking, if they are softer to begin with, they typically have better action / movement at slower speeds.

Favorite hollow paddle tails

The only ones I use are the Fish Arrow air bag shads. I'm looking for something very similar that I can source in the States, TW, etc. Every one I've tried is just a hard, stiff piece of plastic. The air bag shad is really supple and soft, yet maintains above average durability. Any ideas?

Re: What's Your Favorite Topwater Bait? ~~~~~~<:------<<

I fish almost strictly topwater and by far the best walking stickbait I keep in my arsenal is the Lucky Craft Sammy 100. NC shell white is money. I have a black one just as productive but I never see that color made by them anymore. For poppers I like ones with deep cups to make loud blurps instead...

Yes, as you said you sank too much money into that combo, and yes Bon Scott rocks. You have to laugh at all of the money we spend on customization. It will be worth it in the long run. Hopefully that combo will become as legendary as Bonn once you have won a few tournaments and/or caught a few big ...

Re: Scrimless NFC

Those introductory prices are indeed nice. That being said, I'll wait for others to take the 1st plunge. It's all subjective, and while I find that HMs to be really nice blanks, I feel the Point Blank's are on another level. NFC is going to have to wow me in a big way. If I find a blank I want, and...

I just buy it at Ace hardware. I bring my worms with me to match diameters. Yes, I get strange looks

Re: Wacky Worm Rigging Question ?

use heat shrink cut into 1/4" sections...don't shrink it just leave as is , lasts way longer than O-rings and your hook orientation is perpendicular unlike the o-ring which is parallel. This every time. I don't fish stick baits, rather finesse worms wacky rigged. I do indeed heat the shrinking...
