Re: DESiGNO Wraith effin
I purchased a Torque Tune from PKN8. It's the 6'10 medium heavy 4s solid tip. It quickly became my favorite bottom contact stick. Love the taper, easy detection and feedback. Reel seat is very comfortable, just a pleasure to fish. I would recommend picking one up in a second. Just know what you're b...

Re: SLP Knobs
Purchased a set late this morning. Email confirmation is confusing. It starts by saying we will arrange shipping as soon as PRE ORDERED item is stocked. Then it ends by saying, in case of shortage (no stock), stock status arrives everyday. However there is a possibility of sold out. On the item list...

Re: Nylon replacement for OG Defier?
Bump...any updates? Indeed. I purchased a few nylon lines from Varivas. I got the super soft and the bass. I've only had the opportunity to fish them once so far, but I'll report back when I have a little more use with them. So far so good. I've spent a fair amount of time using these two nylon lin...

Re: Floating Jerkbait?
If you can find them - A super shallow, super erratic floater that smallies will absolutely smack when they're on... The River2Sea Humbug minnow. I've never caught so many post spawn fish on a hardbait before. Wild and aggressive, smallmouth can't resist. I actually need to find a couple more come t...

Re: Floating Jerkbait?
Grab a couple of those Nishine 95s. Such a great jerkbait, and one of my most productive floaters. The other being the Imakatsu Gekiasa alive roller floating jerkbait. This one runs a little more shallow, but smallies love it with the natural patterns. I rarely fish any other floaters anymore.

Re: New US Market Poison Ultima
In addition, poison glorious rods have excite top in some models meanwhile in the Utima series it is not shown in his features... Would be Poison glorious with excite top more suitable for mid/strolling than Ultimas ? Otherwise, which Ultimas do you choose dor this technique My opinion, absolutely....

Re: Silver Widow rod
Do all the silver widow rods use X Ray blanks? Will we see an Edge rod that uses the Epitome blank any time soon?

Re: Solid tip rod
In my experience there isn't added sensitivity (but on a high-end rod, you don't lose it, either). But the solid tip makes it easier to maintain bottom contact and you can fish lighter lures. The two ST rods that I have are both Daiwa Steez models (well, I might also have an old Ugly Stik somewhere...

Re: All new steez sv tw
Sounds like the cast cap - spool tension is truly preset. I'd assume that if it were somehow otherwise adjustable, tension lessened, it might get a bit squirrely. I also feel that a slightly loose spool tension is best for skipping, especially with SV braking. Some of the SV equipped reels can be a ...

Kazu is great. Never had an issue of any sort. He's even ordered out of stock rods for me.
