Baits similar to Evergreen Gizmo

I see the EG Gizmo on the front page. Can anyone point me towards some really similar baits, that weigh a bit more? Preferably 5-6 grams, quarter ounce-ish? I have a bunch of small top water baits such as the Micro Pompadour, Micro Tappy, etc. I'm after soft baits, preferably pre rigged and relative...

Personally, I don't think they'll move flagship production out of Japan. Hope not anyways.

Re: Do you mind Daiwa going full Made In Thailand?

If the QC is the same, then it really shouldn't matter. I'd like to think that a company like Daiwa wouldn't let it get out the door and hit the market. It will be there collapse of reputation if so. Nobody here is going to accept it, however the general consumer will, and likely won't know any bet...

Re: What do "new" spinning reels offer?

Line management and weight primary. The older metal reels such as your Tierra feel smoother imo, but perhaps less connected. The old Tierra, Advantage, Sol, etc should last a lifetime. Not so sure about modern Zaion based reels.

Re: New Daiwa reel?

The "new" Tatula CT is not based on the 100 platoform. It is the old Tatula from 2016. Tatulas don't go away. They just keep making more and renaming the old ones and releasing them as new (Tatula 150, 200 and Tatula CT) Thanks for pointing that out , I see it now ,the handle threw me off. Took me ...

Notice at the bottom of the daiwa page it says “be earth friendly”...

I guess that’s their plan with the tatula: Reduce, reuse recycle...

Just not build to last.
My sentiment as well. It's been quite some time since I owned a Quantum. The 3 I had went boobies up within a year. Maybe do a search. I recall an old Quantum thread, similar to this one. It was pretty long, and relatively negative.
