Re: Help me pick a reel!
I've got about $150 in Bass Pro money to spend on a new reel at the big spring sale in a couple weeks. I've only been using baitcasters for the last few years and my experience is limited to my two Daiwa HSTAs. I was in Bass Pro today making some Christmas returns so I did some scouting: Lexa 100 -...

Re: How to understand a fish finder.
I'll bite... First, help me understand what water depths you fish with in your kayak. If you're a shallow water angler fishing shoreline cover for bass, a fishfinder really isn't going to help you much other than tell you how deep your boat is sitting in. You can skimp and get a cheap unit for that...

Re: Spro BBZ
Check out matt allens video's on tactical bass. The hard jointed baits are best used in warmer water. The hud style tail is best for the coldest water. I have been looking at my BBZ trout and want to use it bad myself, just waiting for some warmer water. awesome thanks! i just want a bass to hammer...

Re: Kayak Length and Speed
i guess it just depends on the person, not the yak! lolBucketHunter wrote:My 55 yr old uncle is foot shorter than me, 100 lbs lighter and can bench 300lbs, 50 more than I can.
Height is pretty irrelevant, sometimes short guys can have quite a powerful stroke on explosive movements.
