Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

https://i.postimg.cc/y63xxg70/Screenshot-20181211-142107-3.png Looks like slight modified Steez in this pic. You can see the mag dial protrude from the palming plate in the usual position but looks like it has a plastic lip around it. The plastic beneath the dial appears to be reduced or removed. L...

https://i.postimg.cc/05Xb4DLY/Screenshot-20181210-221746.png what does a forensic anthropologist do on a daily basis This thing. I thought it was an old Tatula at 1st because the top of the frame is so flat but has the Steez logo on the face plate. Looks to be some new Steez reel. What's the time i...

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

https://i.postimg.cc/fRmbrXvb/Screenshot-20181210-205402-3.png Looks like the Tatula 100 to me. Exposed mag dial. White blob on the front is likely the white Daiwa logo found on the Tatula 100. The mag dial is not visible when casting due to the angle of the reel but when he is speaking to the reps...

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

In the Project T begins vid where Brandon twitches a rod and reel a couple times I am seeing a new Steez reel. I think the mag dial sticks out of the bottom of the side plate kind of like the latest Curado 200's. This new dial placement would narrow the front of the reel down some. Could someone wit...

It is just the Japan debut of our us version except it has a metal handle cap.

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa

I assumed it was just the predictable Tatula 100 SV, which will inevitably come out. My thoughts as well But when I hit the pause button while he is casting the reel, I can not see a mag dial like on the Tatula. Also noticed he is holding a palm side plate that looks new. Looks like a partially cov...

Tim Kelly wrote:Hopefully they're adopting the steez style palming plate then for the zillion, as they've done with some JDM models, on the next series US zillions.

The side plate that Brandon is holding in the video does not look like the Steez TW side plate. I think it is a new design.

Re: Lew's Pro G

So , I was at dicks today. They had the Pro G on clearance. $169 (not a spectacular price).... still would like to know what's replacing it , lol. Nothing. Its just discounted for a limited time. Over the winter TW had the Pro G listed as clearance but now it is listed as closeout. Doesn't closeout...

Re: ICAST 2018 Rumors

There is a vid on Daiwa's Facebook page with Ish Monroe showing the new Tatula 100. It does not have the recessed mag dial like the Steez. :crying:

Re: Quantums S3 series baitcasters

I tried out a new Smoke S3. The reel looks kinda cheap, especially the star drag. The retrieve felt and sounded crappy. The line guide hits my thumb when it goes back and forth and I don't like how the palm side brake dial feels against my hand. I also have this problem with all the Doyo and Banex r...
