Re: Ester mono.

I have tied directly to the lure using a Palomar knot. No issues with the knot. Ester is a fantastic tool in fishing line......but.....if not using a shock leader one is going to lose a lot of fish if you get into reasonable good size fish. I regularly land a lot of spotted bass in the 14-17 inch r...

Re: Ester mono.

Doing some reading here and elsewhere regarding this line and seems a majority of folks are tying this line to leader. Anyone fish direct to lure, and if so, what are the recommended knots?

Re: Anyone Use Rembrandtreel service?

If you're looking for someone that won't charge you $500+ and that will do crackle paint schemes for you, he is not you're guy.

If you don't mind his prices and being ostracized for concepts wanting done, he's your guy then... Lol

Re: Round reel love?

A couple Isuzus, multiple Morrums in the IVCB/UM body and SX models, CQ401, and a lonely Frankenstein of a CV-Z 103/105.

I may like the round reels

Re: Ultimate Drop Shot set up

Factory, I've been using my Evergreen TKDC-66ML-Spiral the past couple of years. Pair it with an SX Morrum and it's been money.
Same reel on a custom PB661L cut down to 6' has been fun as well.

Re: Alphas air stream custom

Spool is super shallow, lol.
Was tossing a 1/16 oz hair jig and came down to the knot every time.
Solid performer
