do u guys find that for majority of ur applications, ur able to set n leave alone or constantly make minor adjustments? Set and forget with heavier baits... a 7'M DX would be ideal for me. I'm a little disappointed that there isn't a Med. action Casting rod in the DX lineup.

My only reservation is that i prefer 7' casting rods. If i was in the market for a 7'4 i would truly consider the 742.

Does anyone think that the Type-R wouldn't balance well with the 7'M? I was in cabelas a few weeks ago and had the Xtreme paired with a T3 and it felt great, but there's been way to much bad press on the T3 for me to take the risk on this 1st gen's.

I love my Core too, but wanted to try something new. How does the new Xtreme fish, Falcon? What do you have on yours?
