Re: Break offs

If you backlash and pull the line hard to get it out, you cause the line to kink where it pull into a tight v. Not good for fluoro, that's where it's breaking.

Re: Should I get 872s or 902s NRX

I have 902s and love it, but wouldn't use it for bottom contract. I was just thinking of buying NRX 902S for bottom contact :)... I am wondering why you wouldn't use it for bottom contact? WW Feel a little soft for bottom contract for me, same for the person who owned it before me. The power was to...

Re: Daiwa cracking down on wholesalers/private dealers?

I would bet that when dealers like Tackle Warehouse have major sales on reels at the end of their runs that the manufactor has given them discount to clear their stock, also.

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's

I've wanted to see these three together for a while and came across a NIB Viento and NIB Fuego last week to sit next to a Sol I have had for a while. http://i1362.photobucket.com/albums/r685/soulfisher/IMG_6424%201_zpsqs2enxbk.jpg Had a bunch of the Sols and Fuegos, great reels still have one each....

Re: Sunline Siglon Fine Float II Line

I used the Lucky Craft yellow floating line for Pop R's for a while and it worked fine, but using it side by side with mono I didn't see any advantages.

Re: Daiwa Sol

If you can find one the Alpha Type R spool is a great performer, I have one in my Sol and prefer it to the SV spool. I have an Alphas Type R and yes the spool is a great performer. I like the SV spool for skipping and pitching and it is a very forgiving spool. If would like more finesse in your Sol...
