I'm not to sensitive tip heavy rods, but I had 2 rods that really sucked. Try adding chair covers and washers in them, worked out pretty good, until I found a better solution. Sold them.
Here is the difference between both Shooter lines. https://img.tacklewarehouse.com/watermark/rs.php?path=SDAR-2.jpg https://img.tacklewarehouse.com/watermark/rs.php?path=SLSD-2.jpg Thanks Cracker, I may just use the shooter only from now on. Was really surprised on the stretch on the Armilo.
The Shooter is the best moving bait line I've used, specially top water. Use it for all my cranking except deep. I have Armilo on all my all purpose rods, for bottom contract. Cut my use of FC in half.

Would I be too out of line to guess Megabass is about to blow our minds?
I’ll guess X7 re-vamp by popular demand.
I since have a couple I'd like to add.
Currently using an Steez EX 7.1 reel, because it's on an all purpose rod (MB Rekkai), but I prefer a 6.3 ration. You can't go wrong with any of the Steezs or TDZ reels, or a Zillion with I prefer the longer rods.

I have a Super Eiger, Super Elseil, Rekkai, Western Flip, and a Parry Arc. Love the X7's, Super Elseil and Rekkai are my favorites. Would love to acquire an Extreme Mission and Simoom.
It's been 12 years since ChuckE wrote his comments and we're still discussing how the mag brakes work. I just turned 70 and I've have a life experience to share, If it ain't broke don't fix it. I still love Daiwa!
I like Daiwa, I'm not changing my mine because someone says they're old school. Glad he has some technical info to support his statements, but I like Daiwa. Like my Father's family arguments on Ford vs. Chevy, no one ever won, because they were both good cars.

thanks, yeah I've got 3 OG Steez - two are 6.3's, 1 is 7.1. I could drop a gear upgrade in the two 6.3's for $100 and be done - one each for the 893, 894, and 873 I've got coming. Plus I've got two Alphas SV's as well so I have a few options for 6oz reels. For all I know the J Dreams/SV105's may ba...
I have a Presso casting rod and reel that I tried 12# SX1 and it casted just OK casting 1/16 oz.Rapala, so decided to try 8# test. So I bought some 8# Xplasma Asegai. This stuff is really small, sewing thread small, a little hard to tie knots. Looks like green silt on the reel. It really performs, i...
