Re: 2 lbs mono/fluoro on size 500 vs size 1000/2000.
I have used a number of 500 over the years and the casting distance and line pickup with a 2000 or 2500 is much better. I also feel they balance the rod better.

Re: Interesting Take on Drop Shot Knot
I’m concerned with fluoro biting into itself on this knot. Anyone regularly use with fluoro?

Re: Nanobraid, Gliss opinions
+1 on the nanobraid. I use the 2lb on my UL spinning setups and it does great. I do run Sniper 3lb leader on it though so abrasion is a non issue.

Re: Favourite Nanofil leader knot
X2 in the nanobraid. I have the 2lb in my panfish setups. Use a 3lb fluoro leader. Have landed some 3-4 lb bass with no problem. Using ul rod of course. I’m ashamed to say that I continue to fail at properly tying the FG knot. Even after I got the knot assist tool. I’ll leep trying, but Alberto work...

Re: Favourite Nanofil leader knot
Alberto works for me and also the surgeons knot when I’m in bad conditions that make tying harder.

Drop Shot With Bobber Stops

I love dropshotting and have been considering giving this a try. My concern is losing fish at the knot above the weight. Maybe the bobber stopper will provide cushion.
Anyone with experience with this or thoughts to offer?
