Re: Megebass topwater rod recommendation
Not sure what size baits you are throwing but consider the XX Jerkbait special. Fantastic top water rod.

Re: Favorite Uses For Megabass Diablo Fast Move
It's an awesome bottom contact rod and very nice for half oz range baits. Many may not agree but for me it's just as sensitive as my NRX rods. Good for chatterbaits and big spinnerbaits too.

I second Vince's recommendation. The x10 is an awesome open water squarebill rod.

Re: Best all around line for jerks and cranks
My go to cheap cranking lines are Pline CX premium 12 and YZ Hybrid 12. YZ H has lots of memory but relaxes with conditioner, it's also very strong. For my few more important trips a year Tatsu 10 or 12 is my favorite.

Re: Antares vs Conquest vs Metanium
The Antares is a casting machine. It's also heavy and bulky but outcasts the Met and CQ for me. Is also very very smooth. I use mine for chatterbaits, mid depth cranks and big spinnerbaits. Love all 3 reels but they are completely different.

Haha. A little of both I guess:) It's worth mentioning that I have the MS-X 70MH and love it.

Buy the 72x then tell us how you like it. I'm considering the 74H as a pitching rod.

Re: Phenix XG1 vs X10 crankbait rods! HELP!
It's not tip heavy at all and very light in hand. Tip is soft so not great for jerkbaits but nice for cranks and topwater.

Re: Phenix XG1 vs X10 crankbait rods! HELP!
I fish the x10 extensively on the Great Lakes for Smallmouth. Awesome open water cranking rod for baits down to 6 or 8 ft.

I emailed them and they said the rods will be back soon. Since then Major Craft has reappeared.
